The purpose of this area is the fierce defence of the rights of indigenous peoples. That is to say, the defence of ancestral territories and that of the indigenous brother by resorting to the ordinary justice system.
It also issues opinions and advises the organization every time the State brings out norms that threaten the rights of the IIPP.
It carries out important processes in defense of indigenous peoples in isolation in the international judicial system.
It advises native communities on the application of their statutes, their inscription in public registries and others.
